Maesteg Keeper of the Colliery Run 2026
10K & 5K – Timer chip & numbered
On Sunday the 28th June 2026, runners from across South Wales can take part in the Keeper of the Colliery 5K and 10K Run.
The location: Ysgol Gyfun Maesteg Comprehensive School – Directions
Event day times:
Registration: 8.30am to 10.45am
Start 10K: 11am
Start 5K: 11.30am
Presentation to winners: 1pm
Colour run: 1.30pm
Event and fun day finishes: 3pm
General event information:
On Sunday the 28th June 2026, runners from across South Wales can take part in the Keeper of the Colliery 5k and 10k Run.
The run was first organised as part of the Maesteg Festival 2019.
The race starts at Maesteg Comprehensive school and takes in the great view of the Llynfi Valley.
The runners also get to run past the great keeper of the colliery.
This year we have the return of the popular FAMILY FUN DAY also until 3pm
